Kamis, 11 September 2014 Prof. Hamada dan Prof. Dr. Katsuhiko Takahashi dari Division of Electrical, System and Mathematical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Hiroshima University berkunjung ke Departemen Teknik Industri UI. Kedua Profesor dari Hiroshima tersebut merupakan tamu dari Prof. Dr. Ir. Teuku Yuri M. Zagloel, M.Eng. Sc. dosen di Departemen Teknik Industri UI. Kunjungan dari Hiroshima University kali ini untuk menjalin kerjasama khususnya pengembangan pemanfaatan Lean Production System yang ada di Laboratorium Sistem Manufaktur Departemen Teknik Industri UI.
